ive had a similar dream in the same room at least 3 times- I have a reoccuring dream of the devil entering my home, never doing anything just scaring, then leaving, like a warning, it always starts with a small hole in a red painted room with a fireplace, the hole is like a peephole in a door- you can view through it to the other side where you can see the devils chamber- a lavish warm room similar to the one i am in. then somehow (its different every time) the hole turned into a passage between the fireplace for the devil to go through. this time the holes multiplied and started appearing all over the walls and floors and items until the fireplace had a gap in it and the devil walked through. he never does anything but we are scared and try to run but never get very far, but he never attacks, just observes. and then after escaping far enough away i wake up. in a similar dream he actually took my dad and brought him back malformed and then later my dad returned to normal. the dreams connected this time which is also why i say theyre reoccuring bc i saw the signs of things happening and i was talking to my dad like- he’s coming back- what if he changes you again this time but its way worse and you dont go back to normal- anyways i wake up after i get far away from the house- i never see the room repair or the devil walking away- only waking up after i get distance from him. I never remember what he looks like either, i dont know if i ever actually saw him but i knew he was there. im never panicked either- like i know im not going to die or get hurt- but the evil presence puts a lotta fear in me- its a weird typa scared- after i got away in the last part of the dream from the red room my dream cuts to sometime later- im outside playing with two of my sisters, i have no sisters in real life, i always dream i have other family that doesnt exist- anyways we’re outside and suddenly things start happening the the little table and chairs that were on the path outside our house- things that arent realistically possible like stuff falling through the table, and a bowling pin appearing under it out of nowhere. i see this happening and i run inside and i am overcome with an ominous feeling, we run to the lake because our parents arent home theyre on the other side of the lake and i tell my sisters the fastest way is to swim across so we start sprinting into the water and everyone by the lake is silent- just smiling with a toothy grin. i have to swim with one of my sisters on my back because she cant swim well. the dream ends once we get almost to the shore on the other side or the lake and i dont feel the ominous presence anymore
This dream seems to be reflecting feelings of fear, vulnerability, and a perceived presence of evil or negative energy in your life. The recurring theme of the devil entering your home could symbolize a sense of invasion or intrusion into your personal life or inner sanctuary. The red painted room with a fireplace represents a space of warmth, comfort, and familiarity, which becomes compromised by the appearance of the devil.
The holes and passages in the dream may represent openings or vulnerabilities through which negativity enters your life. The devil observing but not attacking could indicate a sense of being watched or under the influence of negative forces, but also a feeling of being somewhat protected or assured that you won't be directly harmed. The fear you experience in the dream may stem from the uncertainty and potential consequences that the presence of evil brings.
The part where the devil takes your dad and returns him malformed, but later normal again, suggests a transient manipulation or disruption of familial bonds or relationships. This could be reflective of any anxieties or insecurities you have regarding the stability or well-being of your loved ones.
The dream transitions to a scene where you are playing with sisters who don't exist in real life. This could represent a desire for family connections or a sense of support and companionship. The strange occurrences with the table and chairs, and the toothy grins of people by the lake, might signify an unsettling disruption of familiar and predictable elements in your life. This could create a sense of urgency or need to escape from the ominous presence and seek safety.
Overall, the dream suggests a struggle against negative influences or unsettling situations in your life. It may be a reflection of your subconscious processing of fears, vulnerabilities, and a desire for protection and security. It could be beneficial to further explore these emotions and consider any underlying concerns or issues that might be influencing your dream state.
